Welcome to the English homepage of the Geological Society in Sweden

The Geological Society of Sweden is 136 years old this year, has more than 600 members and distributes two scientific journals.

The purpose of this home page is to give information about the society's activites. We publish a scientific journal called GFF, which conatins peer-reviewed articles within all aspects of geology. We also publish Geologisk Forum, a popular-science magazine written in Swedish that published articles on all aspects of Earth Science.

We also have the ambition to publish news, guides, debate articles, and more in all fields of geological science. We start with a small English site which we hope to develop further on.
